About the event

Creating an integrated Bitterroot Valley Food Cycle with a focus on soil health.

Gathering One of Three: Exploring our Needs and Resources, Connecting the Dots.

Do you have land you want to use in a new way? Do you wonder how we can come together to serve the valley we live in? What does it mean to be a land steward in a changing climate? How can your soil thrive for the next 100 years? What does it mean to be regenerative? What does it mean to be food secure?

Join your Bitterroot neighbors for this FREE three-part series to help us know our potential when we attend to the soil and to the self. Together we will learn about Regenerative agriculture principles and create methods for sharing knowledge as we move into the growing season. We will learn embodiment practices that can help us find the next first step. We will find ways to move into action- weaving these threads into the fabric of the Bitterroot Valley- through soil and food stewardship. We will build a network of land stewards across the valley.

In workshop One we will Explore together:

Who are we?

What are the outlines/parameters of the Bitterroot System we are talking about?

What are the questions that are coming up for you?

What do you want to know more about?

What information do you need to have to move forward?

What’s the technical stuff you want to learn?

What excites you?

How does your understanding of your foodshed connect to your decisions about land management?
