High School Starts
High School Starts brings high school seniors to the farm in the fall and spring to engage on a variety of agricultural arts and business projects. Students have designed farm marketing materials, learned about seed saving and storage, and engaged in hands on planting activities. Future projects include growing plant starts for the Hamilton Community Garden and starts for vegetables to be grown for the Meals On Wheels Program. Working with area high schools, this program opens up new career ideas for youth about to enter the workforce or transition to college.
