Mary Wingert

My name is Mary Wingert and I moved to the Bitterroot Valley in 2018, after visiting this area every year for the last 20 years. I lived in the Central Valley in California until my husband and I relocated here. I have never regretted this move and love the Bitterroot Valley. I am a retired RN and enjoy yoga, gardening, herbalism and learning new things in my spare time. My favorite fruit is a raspberry and my favorite food is a well-made salad. After retiring I wanted to learn about organic gardening and was drawn to Homestead Organics and the community activism that Cultivating Connections creates in which growing food and learning is a priority. I am thankful to have met Laura Garber and to have become a part of the Cultivating Connections Family.
