Youth Farm Internship Program employs 8+ high school students in REAL PAYING JOBS, growing food for homebound seniors in cooperation with the Meals On Wheels program of Ravalli County Council on Aging. These transferable job skills prepare youth for the future and develop their spirit of engagement in the community.

This is your chance to participate directly in a circular economic model - your dollars become the paychecks for girls learning to grow food, community, and personal capacity. Their efforts become your dinner and your good fortune!

Thank you for supporting Cultivating Connections and its family of programs: the ‘Youth Farm Internship’, ‘Soup for Seniors’ (in cooperation with the Meals on Wheels program of Ravalli County Council on Aging), the ‘Kinder-Gardeners Project’, ‘Special Abilities Camp’ (in cooperation with Bitterroot Arts for Autism), Community Roundtable events, and other opportunities for fun, active engagement in food, farming, and society for everyone. Cultivating Connections is a Montana non-profit, under the non-profit umbrella of the Bitter Root RC&D, and is based at the farm-classroom of Homestead Organics Farm of Hamilton.
